The Smart Bomb

The smart bomb is usually deployed by stealth bombers and then attack their targets. This bomb is cheap to produce and steerable which allows for precision attacks. However, the system used to navigate these bombs is expensive and the military has to choose wisely when to use these missiles. The best choice is to use the Owl bomb by Lockheed Martin. When launched it extends its wings and is controlled from a plane nearby that helps it steer to its target and recalculate its aim. The dumb bombs can work in bad weather, night, and smoke and dust don't affect it.

The smart bomb can be guided to their targets with an even higher degree of accuracy. These bombs are equipped with small extendable wings which help it glide and a camera in the nose of the missile to help it be maneuverability.

The smart bomb falls to the surface due to gravity but its wings help it glide to its target. The wings have control surfaces on them that move in response to guidance commands, enabling adjustments to be made to the angle of the bomb's descend or the direction of its fall. the guidance system is planted in the nose of the missile. This system could be electro-optical, laser, or infrared. The system consists of sensors to detect the target and soem means of adjusting the bomb's descend.
